Daisy had always known as a Sweetheart with a nonstop tail wag.  Daisy was raised by Nellie, an Australian Shepherd. They were always together, and Daisy took comfort in being in a large pack. Because of Jake’s love for bassets, he  rescued Daisy and Nellie from less than desirable conditions and brought them into his pack of bassets.  Jake became very sick recently and had to make the hard decision to rehome Daisy. Senior Houndsabound took Daisy into their care although it was not for long enough.  Daisy passed away from cancer at the age of 14. Daisy loved nothing more than taking strolls and naps with the other bassets. She never asked for much, just love.
