Ruby Doo was a perfect little hound dog!

We were so blessed to have had her to love for almost 8 years. We adopted her when she was 4 from SBR. She was just staying with us a few days but we couldn’t let her go. She fit perfectly with Merlin and Lucy (her new basset siblings) and kitties Lira & Gilly. She was sweet, affectionate and always so gentle! She loved her lounge chair time, her Sniffaris, and her vacations to Barkwells with family. She loved giving kisses but she also enjoyed the occasional poo snack.

She did a lot of fundraising with her siblings and raised lots of money to help hounds through the years. She was the SBR Waddle Queen in 2017 and even appeared on the SHA calendar calendar with Merlin and Lucy as one of the 3 Amigos, as a young senior in 2020.

We lost her unexpectedly in July and she took a big piece of our hearts with her.

She’s now with Lucy & Merlin once more romping at the bridge🌈.
