EJ came to us via Suncoast Basset rescue. She had been suffering with digestive issues for several years. With some testing and a great special food, SD-Biome, and a few meds on board, we have her pretty much under control and she is a happy, sassy little basset. She enjoys being petted but on her terms, so we let her tell us when and where. She is petite, just around 40 lbs. While she does not want to be snuggled, she does demand to have a blanket on her, she is a master at flipping one on top of her for her bedtime, if we are not around to do it for her.
