The matriarch duty of the pack falls to Lady. closing in on 4 years being with us, she has seen many hounds come in and many leave for the Bridge. This past fall she was diagnosed with oral cancer, which appeared on her tongue. We were given several option but due to her age (she will be 14 soon) we opted for oral chemo. To our surprise, the oral chemo has made the cancer disappear! We feel like we got a miracle with this little one! She is still on the chemo but we are tapering down her visits and her dosage as she continues to do well. Lady is leader of the pack and lets every one know that she is the special one. Lady does get what Lady wants…..spoiled beagle!
