Keri surrounded by her loving family made the courageous journey to the Rainbow Bridge today, Sept 5, 2024.  She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

Keri or as Juliette has affectionately named her “Keri dog” was adopted on August 18, 2018, from Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue. She was named after someone who found her as a stray in Mississippi and saved her. Keri is the sweetest bassador you will ever meet. We love her white markings, especially on her paws. It looks like she has white socks. We feel like not only did my mom rescue Keri but she rescued us as well. Black dogs have a hard time getting adopted and Keri has stolen my mom’s heart. Even though Keri is slowing down as a senior hound (we think she may be around 12 or even 13 right now) and can’t hear and see as well as she used to, she is still a very happy dog and is well loved by our family. She loves spending time at our home for her monthly sleepovers where she gets extra attention.
